The African Development Fund e.V. stands for cooperation with Africa on an equal footing. As a non-profit organization based in Munich, we are committed to sustainable development projects that improve the lives of local people and create long-term prospects.
Our current main projects include the construction of a hospital that gives everyone access to vital healthcare. We support the construction of modern vocational schools to provide young people with high-quality education and career opportunities. Clean water is a basic right, which is why we are working on projects to ensure water availability for local communities.
We also support the development of livestock farming as an economic foundation and provide safe transportation for students with school buses. To promote education and combat hunger, we are also committed to providing school meals.
Together with our partners and supporters, we create sustainable solutions that not only meet current needs, but also promote Africa’s future development. Let’s shape the future together – in solidarity and at eye level.

Deyaa Bebars is the founder of the African Development Fund e.V., which he established in 2023. After a two-year stay in Africa, Deyaa had the opportunity to get to know the realities of life on the ground at first hand. About Deyaa Bebars
Deyaa Bebars - Chairman of the African Development Fund e.V.
Deyaa Bebars is the Chairman of the African Development Fund e.V. and brings a wide range of expertise and experience to the organization. In the 1980s, he studied social sciences with a focus on political science in Munich, which gave him a deep understanding of social and political structures. He later expanded his academic profile by studying IT management, which gave him the ability to use modern technologies effectively in various business areas.
As an entrepreneur, Deyaa Bebars has worked in a variety of fields including construction, property management, hotel management, hospitality and catering. His expertise also extends to administration and resource management, enabling him to plan and implement projects efficiently.
In later years, his focus also shifted to the medical care and tourism sectors. As an interpreter and translator for German, English and Arabic, he has also played an important role in intercultural communication, which is of particular benefit to him in international projects.
Under his leadership, the African Development Fund e.V. pursues the goal of realizing sustainable projects in Africa, always focusing on cooperation at eye level.
Our Story
Deyaa Bebars is the founder of the African Development Fund e.V., which he established in 2023. This experience opened his eyes to the challenges faced by many African communities.
During his time in Africa, he initiated his first aid projects, which gave him a deep insight into the needs of the people and the opportunities to improve their living conditions. These projects formed the basis for the foundation of the association, which focuses on developing sustainable solutions to the challenges in Africa.
Deyaa Bebars’ commitment and his vision to improve the quality of life of people in Africa are at the heart of the work of the African Development Fund e.V. With a clear focus on cooperation and respect for local communities, the association aims to bring about positive change and provide long-term support.
