About Us

Deyaa Bebars – Chairman of the African Development Fund e.V.

Deyaa Bebars is the Chairman of the African Development Fund e.V. and brings a wide range of expertise and experience to the organization. In the 1980s, he studied social sciences with a focus on political science in Munich, which gave him a deep understanding of social and political structures. He later expanded his academic profile by studying IT management, which gave him the ability to use modern technologies effectively in various business areas.

As an entrepreneur, Deyaa Bebars has worked in a variety of fields including construction, property management, hotel management, hospitality and catering. His expertise also extends to administration and resource management, enabling him to plan and implement projects efficiently.

In later years, his focus also shifted to the medical care and tourism sectors. As an interpreter and translator for German, English and Arabic, he has also played an important role in intercultural communication, which is of particular benefit to him in international projects.

Under his leadership, the African Development Fund e.V. pursues the goal of realizing sustainable projects in Africa, always focusing on cooperation at eye level.

Project: Nungwi Hospital in Zanzibar

Goals:
▪ Provide specialized care for mothers and children.
▪ Establish mobile clinics to serve remote areas.
▪ Train local medical professionals.
Sustainability:
▪ Integrating commercial services (mall and banks) to finance operations.

Pillar 2: Education
Project: Industrial Vocational Schools

Goals:
▪ Train young people in technical professions (electricity, plumbing, mechanics, IT, carpentry, agriculture, etc.).
▪ Reduce illegal migration by creating local job opportunities.

▪ Collaborate with European institutions to develop curricula.

Project: Livestock Development

Goals:
▪ Improve livestock breeds through crossbreeding with European breeds.
▪ Increase milk and meat production to combat malnutrition.

Implementation:

-Construct deep wells in collaboration with local hotels to ensure maintenance.

-Impose a symbolic fee on commercial usage to finance the project.

Utilize buses as public transport during the day to cover operating costs.

-Encourage school attendance by providing free meals.

-Improve growth rates and combat stunted development.

Who We Are

The “African Development Fund e.V.” is committed to the sustainable use of Africa’s natural resources to create development projects focused on youth, families, and communities. We believe that sustainable investments in these resources will benefit both current and future generations by creating jobs and strengthening the economic independence of local communities.
Our organization focuses on cooperation in development and cultural exchange to promote understanding and tolerance among peoples. We believe that this exchange not only strengthens relationships between different communities but also contributes to spreading values of peaceful coexistence and building communication bridges between nations. Our goal is to enable African peoples to reach their full potential and contribute to a bright future for the continent.

Specifically, the organization strives to achieve these goals through the following activities:

1. Provision of Medical Facilities

  • The African continent has some of the most underserved medical facilities worldwide, endangering the lives of children and mothers during early childhood, pregnancy, and childbirth.

2. Promotion of Vocational Education and Training

  • We believe that quality education and vocational training are the foundations for empowering youth and opening up promising future prospects. We focus on providing education and vocational training as a means of combating poverty.

3. Promotion of Agricultural Independence

  • Through sustainable organic farming, livestock rearing, and animal husbandry, we aim to improve food production and increase self-sufficiency to combat poverty and improve living standards.

4. Provision of Medical and Psychological Care for Mothers and Children:

  • Support is provided particularly for women and girls to overcome growth disorders and malnutrition and to improve the overall health of the community.

5. Promotion of Urban Independence through Renewable Energy

  • We support projects that provide clean and sustainable energy sources for urban communities.

In addition, we organize cultural and scientific events and support collaboration in development and cultural exchange to promote understanding and tolerance among peoples. The organization assists governments, institutions, and individuals in implementing sustainable development projects and actively contributes to sustainable development.
We want to emphasize that the organization operates on a nonprofit basis and has no economic interests. All of the organization’s resources are used exclusively to achieve the objectives set forth in the charter, and no allocations or profit distributions to members of the organization are allowed. We condemn any form of violence, whether physical, psychological, or sexual, and reject any kind of discrimination based on personal preferences. The organization is committed to taking all necessary measures to protect mothers, children, youth, and adults from any form of violence.
